While we offer a flexible trip duration, here's a sample itinerary showcasing an exciting two-week adventure in Kenya.
Week one
Your journey begins in Nairobi, where you'll then travel to Nanyuki and settle into your accommodation. The next day, explore the local area and dive into Kenyan culture with a language lesson, a cross-cultural workshop, and a delicious traditional dinner.
Throughout the week, engage in various activities designed to broaden your understanding of Kenya. Contribute to the community through outreach projects, learn traditional dances, meet village elders, and explore bustling local markets. You'll also have the opportunity to work alongside the Red Cross, discover the art of Kenyan cooking, and visit a traditional coffee farm.
Your first weekend promises adventure and cultural immersion. Embark on a thrilling 'Big 5' safari, seeking out lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit an animal orphanage and learn the art of traditional bead-making in the evening.
Week two
Start your second week by immersing yourself in the traditions of the Maasai people. You'll join in their daily activities, like herding cattle and fetching water and firewood. It's a unique chance to see the challenges of balancing modern life with centuries-old customs.
Next, travel to the Soysambu Conservancy in the African Savannah. Here, you'll get hands-on experience with conservation efforts. Track lions with expert guides and learn about the ways – both old and new – that Kenya is protecting its incredible wildlife.
